Hawthorn (Crataegus Monogyna)

Other Common Names: Common Hawthorn, Single-seeded Hawthorn
Found in Europe and Western Asia, these members of the Rosaceae family (Crataegus) can grow to 15-40 feet in height and ??? feet in diameter. .
Color is a pale brown, occasionally with darker streaks.
Finetexture, machines well and turns well. Specific Gravity: ???? . Avg. Dry Weight: ??? pounds per cubic foot.
Used to make: Musical Instruments (flutes), Carving.
